Random thoughts on my class reunion

My high school class had its 20 year reunion yesterday. Some people looked the same as they did in high school, some looked quite different. Some looked happy, but had sad stories to tell. The people that didn't talk to me 20 years ago were still too good to talk to me 20 years later. Some were expecting their first child, some showed pictures of their grandchildren. Some looked 45 years old, others looked 30 years old. Saw many people who were acquaintances, but none of my close high school friends were in attendance. One couple had been married for 21 years, others had 2 or 3 divorces in their past. I won the award for "most years in college," I don't know if that's an insult or an honor. I had a good time, but not a great time. Maybe I'm moving past my need to relive my high school years. Some were reliving the "glory days," I figure my best days are still ahead.
